We are seeking a creative and meticulous interactive designer. The ideal candidate is an articulate communicator, has a consuming passion for web and mobile technology and takes pride in the precision of his or her work. The position requires thinking through design challenges from the point of view of internal and external clients, as well as the end user.
The interactive designer will work in an entrepreneurial environment in downtown Chicago, working with a dynamic, collaborative development team to build the next generation of lead management
solutions for the event marketing industry.

Responsibilities:
• Assist product management with functional specifications for web and mobile applications
• Develop and document use cases to support functional design
• Prepare user interface assets to meet functional specifications
• Build or customize HTML/CSS front ends for websites and applications
• Help update and maintain the corporate website

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Interactive Arts and Media or a related field
• 2+ years experience as an Interactive Designer
• Command of Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Fluent in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Solid understanding of web and user interface design
• Ability to work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines
• Portfolio of professional work

Specific Differentiators:
• Previous experience working for an interactive or marketing agency
• Previous work with JavaScript libraries
• Specifically, previous experience with Ext JS, Sencha Touch or PhoneGap
• Previous exposure to iOS or Android development
• Portfolio work that includes Fortune 500 clients
• Portfolio work that demonstrates advanced JavaScript skills
