Fast growing Chicago-based new media group is seeking sales assistants to support our Online Ad Sales Team in the sale of video advertising to local/regional businesses throughout Chicagoland. Innovative, fast paced and collaborative environment. Tremendous upside potential.

This is a sales training position. Candidate should be excited about moving into sales position with large upside commission plan within 6 months.

Reports to: Dir. of Sales

JOB SUMMARY:
Support professional team of online ad sales executives in the sale of video advertising and online sponsorships for revolutionary video platform.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set appointments and manage calendar for high volume sales team
• Primary focus will be on warm leads generated by business development team
• Utilize Salesforce.com to track all prospecting and sales activity
• Maintain data integrity of prospecting activity and company accounts
• Work with sales team to achieve aggressive sales goals
• Light administrative assistance (proposal preparation, email, etc.)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Ideal candidate will possess high energy, can-do attitude, self-motivated, able to overcome adversity and possess a strong desire to succeed
• Excellent phone skills required - ability to set appointments with decision makers and present initial value proposition
• Strong computer skills mandatory (MS Office software, Salesforce.com, Windows OS)
• Superior interpersonal skills, high ethics and positive attitude
• Knowledge of Real Estate business or online advertising a plus

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors Degree in related field
• Minimum 2 year previous sales experience or direct sales support
• Proven phone skills and strong interpersonal skills
