TMG, based in Washington, D.C., and one of the country’s leading custom-media firms, seeks a digital media project manager to work across multiple business/technology-related disciplines within TMG.
The Digital Project Manager is responsible for managing custom digital media production initiatives in a dynamic publishing environment within TMG. Creating or using functional specs, the Digital Project Manager will work with the Production team to oversee the production of custom digital media projects.
SKILLS:
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Strong problem analysis and resolution.
Proven experience in managing project risks.
Practical experience with requirements. gathering and documentation.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and people in a team based environment and to develop highly successful cross-functional working relationships.
Understanding of web technologies and online software development practices.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript a plus.
At least 3 years of Project Management experience in a publishing, ecommerce or online marketing environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent experience.
3-4 years demonstrated experience in the publishing industry or digital media environment.
